i have downloaded a few movies that are to big to fit on a single dvd disk,my dvd recorder is not dual layer so i only get the 4.7gb of storage,im using roxio easy cd dvd 6 it has served me well but i cant seem to figure out how i split the film in half so i can burn each half separetly onto different discs,any help without having to purchase a new writer or burning programme greatly appreaciated.

everytime I fire up my computer my wireless LAN is automatically (light on computer blinks) I am constantly having to click the lighted button to disable. I look in "all programs" startup... that is empty.. how do i fix this so that it doesnt automatically turn on when i fire up computer?

For a CD-RW or DVD-RW, if i have multiple write and erase. does the total disk space remain the same ?

where can i get more info on that
or anyone can tell me more about how it work so the dics is rewritable ?

Ok, I am obsessed with linerider lately. I was fortunate enough to have someone let me know how to draw straight lines. That tight. Now I have a different question.

When I save a game, where does the file get created and what is it called? I have a program that deletes my temp files and internet files and cookies and so on. When I run it, I lose my saves. I keep a clean computer but want to copy the linerider files somewhere, clean my computer, and put the files back. Does anyone have any idea what/where these save files are?

Some time ago, when I turned my computer on instead of coming up to log on to windows, it keep coming to error messages like no boot file detected. I called Dell the first time it happened and they walked me through a step that fixed it then. I had to open to computer and unplug some wire and replug it. But they didnt tell me what was wrong. Now it has been doing it alot lately. I usually just have to walk away and come back later and it will come on ok. Why is it doing this? Also when it first comes on the black screen before it goes to log in has a white strip across it that has never been there before. I know that sounds crazy. I have windows xp and a dell, so is my computer just about to croak or what?
