Okay, so I'm really getting frustrated here. I have removed about 20 programs from "add/remove" programs. I have cleared my cache. I do about 2 disk cleanups a day. I have deleted temporary files AND all offline files. I STILL have a low space problem. Someone just mentioned to me to defragment. I tried that but it said I only have 2% space & need 15%. So, I remove even MORE programs, do ANOTHER disk cleanup, go back to the "defragment" page and what does it say?? "You only have 2% space & need 15%"!!!!!! Can someone PLEASE, please help me?? I checked the properties of my "C" drive and it's COMPLETELY blue, no pink at all (which means I basically have no free space whatsoever). I am in law school preparing for finals. I would absolutely die if my computer were to crash on me before or during that time. Someone please help!!

I just downloaded LimeWire, and I really don't know how to use it. So I click Audio Search, and it tells me that It's still connecting. It said that 30 minutes ago, and nothing has happened. And the little bars at the bottom of the screen are all red except one, is that bad? What am I doing wrong? Does my firewall have anything to do with this? Help!

I am trying to set my Internet settings to redirect email to my Mindspring account. However, when I go to the Control Panel and select the "Internet" option, I get the following error message:

"Internet Config. Extension error -668 has occurred! Unable to continue."

I have searched Google for help and can find nothing about how to deal with "error -668." Does anyone have a solution and/or recommendation?

It is a compaq, old style.
How do i boot the extra disk. ???
Running out of space on the old one....

I was attempting to burn a cd and as I hit the Start Burn icon I got an error message saying that I have low space available.I right clicked on the song to see what was going on and found out that I have a whopping 32mb of space compared to 200mb.There was an option of me being able to free disk space,so I clicked yes.Now I have NO SPACE AVAILABLE....PLEASE HELP ME GET MY SPACE BACK!!!

Example:It starts to interupt my sound and makes a skipping noise,then a the cell phone rings...Ive just noticed this and has not happened perviously or with any other phones.

My sister was touching my dads computer and when we saw the screen there where about 10 of each icon (example: 10 my computer, 10 internet explorer icons and so on). I tried deleting the extra icons but everytime you turn the computer back on, the icons are back. I tried restoring the computer but it says it can't restore, and its not connected to internet so I don't think it's a virus. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong in trying to remove the extra icons?

My mom has a VERY basic computer... well, its not really a computer at all, its just used for internet and email. What is it called? Im looking to buy her a new one (she has one of the first ones that ever came out), but I dont know what its called or where to look. I had deleted some songs that I had downloaded from iTunes, but then I went into my Recycle Bin folder and restored the songs that I wanted to keep. However, those songs didn't appear back in iTunes. Where do I go to get those songs back and restore into iTunes?

I have a DVD of my highschool concert, and my mom wants me to send it to my grandparents (by email).
I have a Mac, and I used the DVD Player on it to make a 5-minute clip of what I want to send.
I went to my Yahoo Mail, thinking that I could open up the attachment window and attach the clip I had just made, but I can't find the clip...
Is there something I'm missing?
Is there some kind of special program I need to do this?

my computer seems to be so slow because of some hidden and unimportant files that occupy a lot of space on my disks. some visible files can't even delete when i try to delete them. And any idea how to go to safe mode? thanks lots!

I have connected the phone to the computer using the usb lead but my computer won't accept the connection. Computer just makes a beep sound, (same as the sound you get when testing and adjusting volume control on PC), and nothing happens. I no longer have my phone or PC manuals.Can anyone help?

im a member of youtube but when i want to view a video (9 times out of 10) it doesnt play, this is getting annoying, i have tried refreshing the page, logging out and logging back in again, but nothing works, i know it does work cuz ive viewed sum clips on there before....anybody got any ideas what could be wrong????

I had this sweet LBJ wallpaper on my desktop. My friend was over and went to google and typed in sloth. He took the first picture and meant to click "Set as desktop background" but instead clicked something like "Apply active picture to background" or something like that. Anyway now whenever I change my wallpaper different, that picture of the sloth is still on half of the screen. HOW CAN I GET IT OFF?

I have myself a file download manager, which I love BTW, that will resume a download should I lose connection with the server I'm downloading from. Now, say I want to upload my pictures or short videos to a free web-hosting site but, sadly, the server I'm uploading to has a bad connection and the upload is usually terminated half way through transmition. Is there any upload managing software that will resume the upload if that happens? (BTW: that was just an example, I'm really interested in any uploading management tool available.)
