its been so long,i cant remember how to (run) a program,help...thank you for your answer,please use simple terms,i dont know much about computers,thanks again.

I suggest saving it and AVG Free edition updates it self. Becuase if you save it and your computer crashes it or a virus effects it then you can reinstall it without having to track it all over the web.

Is AVG loading updates to its antivirus program? If so, you want to save it to your computer, but remember where it goes, so you can find it again. I'm not sure about AVG but sometimes you have to click on the downloaded file to get it to execute.

open will do fine...if u want to save the file for later use....click on save.

Depends on which operating system such as windows, windows xp Linux etc. you have...they all operate differently.
