I'm considering a Toshiba R25-S3503 tablet laptop and was wondering if there are any disadvantages and if there are any better tablet laptops out there in this range $1000-$1300

i turned my pc on 1 day n ALL the desktop icons have dissappeared from view ( u can still see them if u go to my comp then the desktop folder but thats a f*kin pain) from every time since then theyve never come back n nothing will show on my desktop except the background- the relly annoyin thing is the computer jus decided to do it 4 no reson at all

the input window automatically shuts down suddenly during my inputting when i attempt to input a long paragraph.(for example, when i use microsoft word or internet explorer) . it seems i don't press any wrong key at all. The OS is windows XP. Why does this happen?

I brought a computer when i was overseas and i brought a converter for the plug and out let i would like to know will everything work fine like it wont cost power outages or mess up the computer or outlet from the use of the converter and computer

People I am intersted to know that is there any software or a way through which i can scan multiple documents into a single file.
eg. i have done 5 scans then i save this 5 pages scanned into a single file directly, like scan_master.
Or is there any way through which i can save these 5 documents scanned at a time into a single file, may be a word document, pfd or any other formate

these programs are called privacy alert. my virus scan shows no problems. thishas happened before and they disapeared by themselves. also thanks to all for anwsering my last question.
