Whenever I put in a DVD into my dvd rom and window pops up and says " what do you want windows to do?" and it list the programs I can open. Wellllllllllll this is nice and all but I dont want it to do anything, I dont even want that window to pop up asking me what I want to do. So my question is of course, how do I turn it off or disable it or whatever to not have that window pop up?

My sammsung cd writer(52x/32x/52x dvd combo) used to burn moserbaer cds at 52 x using nero express 6 now it burns at a max of 8 x(nero says that the maximum burning speed is 8x).I tried using different cd brands like sony and imation but didnt give results

For some reason ants have taken to swarming inside my laptop. Why are they doing this? (and no i havent been eating at my laptop). How do i get rid of them without damaging my computer? By the way are they likely to damage anything.

i have a toshiba and i want to know if there is anything i can do to cool my computer down fast b/c it always heats up after about an hour and it good expince laptop i got it for 2k and it has 2gb ram and 80gb hardrive and a really good graphs card.

Should i get new fansor clean them or something?

I have songs on my computer that I want to burn to a cd, but my cd burner isn't working or for some reason turned off. So does anyone have advise on how to fix it

Help me please. Every time I burn them I take the CD out I put into mini-DVD/CD Player it shows a folder called HIGHMAT. Under it you see about half songs that you ment to download. If you click on it it shows IMAGES folder , ..folder , and PLAYLIST folder. Every time I burn , every time they show me this HIGHMAT.

Please help me out , if you experienced the same problem.

PC, WinXPoffice, already checked the SMART status of drives, all good... could it be a motherboard problem? I can't do much until this is fixed. Even rolled back windows.. same problem on both drives, same windows install on both. HeLp?

My computer reboots all the time I have Windows XP. I purchased a new power supply 650 watt I reformatted my hard drive, put new drivers in for my video card. The only other solution I heard is my ram creating an issue... any ideas??????

I have a cell phone where i can send songs i DLd to the phone i want to cut the song shorter..into a few seconds to i can transfer it from mem card to the cell memory ...but back to the point is there a program that can let me cut songs into peices.

None of us at my home like the new yahoo page. On my computer, a few weeks ago, I was given the choice of the old page or the new page. I choose the old page, but on my son's new computer only the new page shows up and I can not find a way to switch it back. Any ideas?
