word should be able to save into that format
i have wordperfect and it saves to pdf.

Download the free pdf converter from OpenSource. You might also be able to find it at download.com
Install it and then when you want to convert the document, go to Print under the File menu and select the converter as your printer instead of your usual printer. It will ask you to give the file a name and tell where you want it saved.

You could download pdf creating software which will enable you to do so. Do a search on the internet.

Download and install CutePDF writer http://cutepdf.com/ and instead of printing the document to a printer you can print it as a pdf file.
