For what? Computers?
Computer wise the expensive (XPS and above) Dells are the best. Lower end (about $1000) Toshiba laptops are going to be better. I don't know if Toshiba makes desktops, but the cheap Dell ones (Dimension series) are crap.

Dell, hands down. Toshiba is proprietory. If somthing happens with Toshiba, you have to have a toshiba vendor fix it, and they have to use toshiba parts. It wont work with other parts. It all has to be Toshiba. In the end, that means you'll be paying out the yin yang. The dell, you can fix with any parts. You can use compay, toshiba, hp etc... and they will all work on the dell.
