Other - Computers - July 2006

My p.c. is running super slow, I have removed a few programs hoping it would help, but to no avail. I have also tried some antivirals, still slow, if at all. Also I had a program running called "starware" and I have no idea where it came from. What I basically want to do is make my computer very basic so that all the memory is being utilized for internet activities... email, games, etc..... Thanks a million. Detailed instructions would be great cuz I am definitely not a computer whiz.

wife, mother inlaw, sister inlaw smoke while on it.key board looks like filth. told them why it is breaking down. they just don't care.help needed short of divorce plus i need her to use it for my work. can't take it away.

How, if possible can i retrieve something i've delete from my computer AND my RECYCLE BIN? I've been working with pomputers (windows xp) for sometime now but i haven't been able to figure this out, i'm not even sure it's possible. I think i made a very big mistake and i would really rather not have to redo what i've deleted so i would REALLY apprecoated it if you could let me know how, that is if it's possible.

Is spending too much time on the computer bad for your eyes? I've been on the computer a lot lately, and I've noticed that I can't see as clearly and as far as I could before. Is this from too much time on the computer? Is a flat screen monitor better? Is there any way to reverse eye damage? I will choose a best answer. Thanks!

There is this person that keeps stalking me on Myspace. I am on there because my brothers live all over the country and that is how we share photos and quick messages. Anyways this person that has ruined my home life keeps going to my page to see if I have been on or not and checking all my stuff out. I have set it to private but it still says the last time I was on. I changed my name, display name, got rid of the city I live in everything and I am still pretty sure she has been to my page today. There have been 3 more views since two hours ago. Maybe I am crazy and it is just people checking it out but I don't know how I would have that many visitors. Any thoughts on how to ditch this crazy person without getting rid of my exhisting page and having to move all my friends?

there is a ID on my messenger when ever i try deleting it the next time i log in my account it is again present in the same way...i have even tried deleting it through my mail account but it is always present back some times in multiple entries... i even tried to IGNORE the id through the messenger settings but no help ....whet can i do?
