its shows window where you can start windows in safe mode & normal ect.but keeps rebooting.this is strange computer was not unplugged just phone line.

My only suggestion (as I HAD dsl in the past lol) would be to switch to cable internet. I haven't had any problems with mine in the 3 years I've had it and it's fast...well, as fast as your pc will allow it to be. ;) I had so many problems with dsl that I had 9 months of free service due to all the hours and hours of no service, billing problems, etc. Good luck! :)

Your computer restartring has nothing to do with unplugging your phone line. It appears something went wacko with your XP installation. If you can boot to safe mode try to restore your PC to an earlier time.

You dont need to purchase a whole new Internet plan.
