asking me for both and tells me i'm not authorized,i had to do a complete system reset yesterday,due to heartless ignorant hackers who froze my whole system I lost everything,family pics software etc,could someone please help access my router I didn't add a password so why is it asking for one do they control that also? frustrated,tired and clueless.rick(nitehawk0660)thanks! You can try and use 'admin' as a password. It comes by default. Then you change it in the system. Plus you have to make you D-Lynk secure with 128 bit encription and admin password should be changed so no one can access it.

all you have to do is find a reset button on your router, and after that try setting it up with a computer directly wired to your router.
if d-link has a WEP-security for wireless you better set that up too and you;ve got to do it fast, who knows the one who's hacking your router is your next door neighbor...
