I have a DVD burner in my computer, and a regular VCR/VHS player. Please be detailed as to the steps it would take, or at least a link to a site or place I would be able to get the steps. Also, please tell me what hardware I need, how much it would cost, etc.

My expectations aren't incredibly high. I don't play games, so high tech graphics cards or anything like that isn't very important to me. I would use it mostly for school work, online research, storing my photos and music, the usual stuff. Any suggestions? Thank you much.

i know this girl that rent dvd's from blockbuster. she brings them home and puts the movies on her computer. then she turns around and burns a bunch of copies of them. we dont like each other so i cant ask her how she does it. i tried putting one of my dvd's in my computer, but nothing happened. i do have roxio cd & dvd burner program #6 on my computer. and i have a cd burner on my computer. can sumone help me?

I put all my music and movie files on the file D instead of C. Will that prevent that date from being erased when I do system restore to get rid of some viruses.

if i sign in on a friends pc or laptop and they have netnanny can they view my chats and e-mail? Id there a record of it on their harddrive? If they can, how can I avoid it next time? Is there a way to disable or remove my history?

I badly want to learn UNIX,but each timr i try,the effort seems daunting and i get bored with the UNIX books .Is there a way to elarn UNIX including the installs? I don't know how it happened but my internet is HUGE. Everything is about 100 times it's normal size. Myself and about 10 other people have tried to fix it. If I go (in the tool bar) to View, then Text Size, and select Smallest, it is still really big. I also have an icon in my icon tray at the bottom of my screen that says Intel(R) Extreme Graphics and I have no idea where it came from. I have tried making changes with this but it does not make it normal. Someone at work said it could have been due to a power outtage or something that happened to it in it's "stand by mode" which I almost believe because when I came to work one day and turned on my computer it was like this. Any suggestions as to what happened and/or to solve this annoying problem?
