If I leave the compuer for a long while it freezes and doesn't respond to any comands. I have to turn it off and back on , some times several times to get it to boot back up . It doesn't matter if I log off or not . Any ideas?

I am running windows XP service PK 2 I change my themes manytime but that not whut i'm asking whut i'm asking is how do you move the bar and put it on any other side of the screen i'm talkign about the bar um... the name is the taskbar...how do you move the position of the task bar...i want it to be on the left or on top..>TY

ALL I have is WINDOWS 98, WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 9.0 and the disk thing where you burn it in. Does anyone know? I googled it,and most results needer windows XP, too. HELP!

My computer has been running really bad for a bit over a week. It keeps freezing ever time I use it. I've run virus scan and nothing is coming up. I have run spyware programs and the computer is clear. . When I check the Windows Task Manager the perfromance is at 100% with Internet Explorer taking up 99% of that. I know IE isn't supposed to take up 99% of the computer's memory. I've found nothing on-line and Microsoft if taking forever to get back to me. Anyone ever have this problem and know how to fix it?

if you check out my profile you will see that the background is black. My problem is that when you go to my movies and music; you cannot see any of the things i've written. I am trying to find out how to change the color of the text in that area so that I can see everything on my site that was in black writing before.

When you look up web sights on the internet and send emails etc. from a computer what all is saved that can be traced.....is it just the web sights itself or every email and every word you typed down to the msn messanger converations etc? If you clear the history and cookies and delete the files does that get it all or can people still get into the hard drive and trace your every move? We arent supposed to play on the computers at work but everyone does it so I wondered that if they ever checked if they would know that i check my email and myspace and whats it says in the emails i send from my private email addresses and the msn messanger etc.

ok...heres the problem...i got to "edit my info" and check the box where i can get e-mails...but my sister tried to send me one, and she said it didn't work...the screen said........ Your email did not go through because the recipient\'s email address has not been confirmed.

How do you confirm it...where do i go to confirm it???
