for example.it downloads documents.i can read the ones with txt.but ones with rtf or doc i cant seem to open.and there are some files with 'pdf' whatever that is.is there anyway that i can download rtf,doc and pdf so that i can read more stuff?

I have loads of real media files but no use copying them to disk since they are non-playable in the usual players. Is there any way in which they can be converted into an mp3 or other playable formats FOR FREE????????? I have tried the trial versions but couldnt find a free software on the net. ok sometimes on myspace i send things to ppl and i realise i really shouldnt have sent it. is there a way to delete the message i sent before the other person gets it? cuz i saw on the "sent" button by "post bulletin" they have messages and then it says delete. does that mean the person will NOT see the message?

I've used my recovery disk a few times to fix stuff on my laptop. Now I want to totally re configure my hard drive. Mostly because I thought that each time I've run the disk its mabe putting another version of the same things on my computer.Meaning, Im stacking extra stuff on top of or around the orignial configureation? I think.I dont know, Im kinda computer retarded so to speak. I do know that my performance has gotten very slow and I have done the basic things nessary to clean it up to no avail. Whada Think?

My computer keeps making a humming/buzzing sound. It seems to be coming from the back of the computer and it's obviously one of the fans. Computer is working find, but the noise is very annoying. It sounds like a car motor starting and then running for several seconds. It's on and off, about every 40 seconds it keeps happening. The computer has been almost 7 hours now (I usually keep it on all the time, even when im not there). Could the fan be working too hard because of the heat?

I cleaned the fans and vacumed the dust out only a few weeks ago so that can't be the problem.
