for example.it downloads documents.i can read the ones with txt.but ones with rtf or doc i cant seem to open.and there are some files with 'pdf' whatever that is.is there anyway that i can download rtf,doc and pdf so that i can read more stuff?

You either need to have the program the files were created with, or a reader for the files.

PDF files are in Adobe Portable Document Format. Get a reader at http://www.adobe.com

DOC files are normally Microsoft Word format. You can get a reader at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads

RTF files are Rich Text Format. The Microsoft Word reader will open those as well.

Wordpad should open txt and rtf files. If you want a free word processor try Jarte

It will open txt, rtf and doc files.
As for pdf files, you could use Adobe or better still Foxit Reader.
