Does anyone know how I can Transfer all of my mp3's from one computer to another computer??

there are a lot of ways to transfer if u have a local area network you can do that by sharing you can upload or download, if you have a cd writer or cd dirve burn your mp3's and copy to cd then copy to to another computer, if u have ur flash drive use flash drive. if you have the internet install ftp server and ftp file transfer software to upload/download ur mp3's

if u r using linux and connected to LAN:

u can use this command :

scp *.mp3 username@ipaddress-of-other computer

ipaddress-of-other-computer can be found by running this command on terminal of that:

/sbin/ifconfig


using windows and connected to lan:

u can use software "winscp" to transfer files.or u can upload into some public ftp server.

u can also use p2p file sharing software like DC++

or u can just burn them into dvd.......

You can do that, by networking, Local Area Networking.

If you do not know whats that, you can send the files through messengers, if both your computers are on the same internet connection.

They must be big files inasmuch as Yahoo (and most sites) allow you to attach 10mb. I use flashdrives to take work back and forth. They have really come down in price. Last week a 1G was on sale for $29 (after rebates).

If you are trying to send them remotely you may need to do an ftp upload. Both computers need to install a peer to peer program and you will do an ftp upload.

copy them to cd rw and move them, erase the cd, do more
