any photo suite program should work with those files. i do not know what you mean by DA. j-peg is a good picture format.... (JPG) if you have a photo and you need to change the file type so you can upload it somewhere, then click on your photo, click on file or edit.. click on rename then after the (.) type jpg or gif or png...
some computers you can right click on your photo and it will give you the option to rename from the box that opens up... other computers you have to open the photo first.
I hope this helps!

.jpg nd .gif r only pic extensions so the question of downloading is pretty stupid...u can convert file extension of any photo into any other extension i.e .gif to .jpg or any else by using ACDSee 6.0..u can convert any of ur already present or downloaded pics into any other format by this software.

These are universal extensions. Photoshop is awesome for editing, but it isn't free in the least. You can go to downloads.com to get all sorts of programs. I'm not really sure what you are looking for. You should be able to view these types of files with all sorts of free programs.

Your camera or scanner software should support these file formats. When you save your pics to the hard drive, try checking the "save as" option box for these file types.

You open your pictures in a photo or paint program like photoshop or paintshop and save them as a different file type. Choose "save as" then select the file type, location, and file name.

I don't get what you really mean.
But if you are looking for a change of your picture's file extension, you can do so easily by changing the extension from .(something) to .gif by renaming.

They are not programs, they are image files. You can view them in the same program you use for the internet. Go 'File' 'Open' 'your file.'
