Most original X-Box games can be played on the 360. For a complete list of compatible games go to xbox.com

Some XBOX games are compatible with it, some are not. And I believe you need the XBOX 360 Premium version in order to be able to emulate the original XBOX games on it. If that is not what you have then you will have to get the hard drive for your XBOX, some but not all games will work.
