How do i get my computer to be japanese capable?

When i go to japanese sites it reads all the character as question marks.

All u need to do is to

1. Goto control panel
2. Go under "Regional and language options" and under the "Languages" tab
3. Check the box that says "install files for complex script and right to left languages".
4. Put ur Win XP cd in.

First you'll need the japanese character sets in your libraries.

Second, if you want to send in Japanese, you'll need the Japanese

keyboard character set, if you are in the Windows virus-magnet!

If you are in Linux, on a live CDrom, you click on the flag in the toolbar, and select the language set from the long list! it just changes everything, instantly, until you want to change back!

hit start, then go to the control panel. Click the "Regional and language options" .

then click the languages tab and then check "install files for East Asian languages"

also you might need to select japanese in the advanced tab under language for non unicode programs. maybe.

substitute WTF for each question mark then go load a Japanese font from microsoft. after loading go to control panel and clic on keyboard then on font and apply the font you loaded. acquire Japanese friend to translate.

change your setting:

click View menu->Encoding...
Is it auto? If not select it.
Still can not-> select a japanese lang from it.
