If you use windows explorer, simply open up the file containing the pictures you want to burn. (make sure your CD is in the drive) Then choose the button, it should be onl the left of the window that says "copy these items to CD." Another window should open containing all the items you have chosen to copy to the CD. If this doesn't work you can always use My Computer to drag and drop the selected files into the D Drive.

I use Nero (www.nero.com). many other applications out there but nero is the generally accepted to be the best. may be overkill for you though if all you are doing is pictures.
