Work=Dell
Home=Build it myself
For work dell's are stable and their support is pretty good so if you have HW issues they can usually fix it quickly.
For home I prefer to build my own so I know what I have and what I can do to it later on when I have extra cash.
Currently AMD3200+, 2gb ram, 120gb HDD(x2), nvidia 6600gt.
Waiting until the end of the year when the prices drop again to put in a better CPU (hoping the fx chips are under $300 by then)

Self built is my ultimate preference. I do not like propriatery computers...they are harderand more expensive to upgrade and tweak. But if I have to go for a prebuilt system...Alienware is the way to go, they also customize for specific needs. Stay away from E-machines, technicians make bundles off of those...

I build my own....better than anything else. It's what you put into it, not what kind it is. Trust me on that one.
