I have an IBM Thinkpad t20 and recently it went out on me with the message ERROR 0200: Failure Fixed Disk 0...?? What does that mean? I was just working on it and out of nowhere BOOM it went out on me...I dont have the Win XP disk anymore, i lent it out and never got it back :o( It keeps sending me to BIOS setup but i have NO IDEA what all this stuff means..PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE can someone help me..I have so much important info on there I cant afford to lose anything...THANKS, Michelle

i download a movie its size is 1.340 gb and when i use windows midea player to open it it moves too slow the sound is ok but the video is too ooooo slow ..

really dont want to spend more than $300 if i dont have to. any recommendations? should i look for one with wide screen? with speakers included or do the built in speakers usually suck? is the resoultion on a 20 inch really that much better than on a 19? (1280x1060 versus 1680 x 1050) please give model number if you have a specific recommendation

I have a Notebook "Toshiba Satellite Pro 400 CDT". I want to boot from CD but the Laptop does not have the "boot from cd option" only two options are availabe . Boot from H.D.D and Boot from F.D.D.

Can anyone tell me please how to boot from CD with this Notebook.

I have a dell inspiron 8500, and the bottom of it gets so hot! I hear the fan going, and its sitting on a desk so the bottom isn't being suffocated. I think I read somewhere about it being the wrong battery? I'm not sure, anyone else have this problem?? Its been like this for a while! Also the battery wont hold a charge longer than 10 mins. help!

I have a desktop at home right now - a Compaq and I love it - but I am looking to become a bit more mobile so I want a laptop - I am trying to get information on all types - I was even looking for info on Mac Notebooks -

I need it to be able to support MS Office Pro
I need it to work with IE
I also need it to be able to burn CDs and DVDs along with play both
AND
it has to have a movie editing software along with a 5-1 memory reader

any suggestions?

I have a Dell Dimension L866r using a PC133 memory chip (128MB) I have one memory slot free. I can buy PC133 payday - I have a spare PC100 chip - but for right now can I use this PC100 64MB memory chip as a temporary fix. Will it harm my computer by doing this?

as you can well imagine why (QA) I start by View History - delete that and then I go to Internet Options - Delete Cookies and History - what will "Delete Files" do -- what files? I'm afraid to delete that. Or should I? Thank you for your advice!!
