Question is wrong.. it should be "Which is better the Mac or the PC?" Windows XP is an Operating System running on a computer & a Mac is a computer.
I would say MAC because theoretically speaking... the computer architecture of the Mac is built to be much faster than the Intel PC. It sends out instructions faster than the Intel due to the architecture but the Intel understands most programs more than the Mac because its architecture is much more simple than the Mac.

Depends on what you want. I say Mac because I've used Windows XP and it's very faulty (Service Pack 2 was a mess!). On a Mac, you can run Windows programs, so don't have to worry about it being "limited." Plus, the Mac interface is smoother, and if you're into graphic design or musicmaking, Mac is definitely the thing for you. Most people don't like Macs because they don't understand them or have heard "rumors" about them. I've been a Mac user for years, and it has served me well.

XP is better for gaming than mac. But mac is more stable and is better for graphics and presentations. Determining which OS is better is a matter of determining what you want to do with the computer.

Actually now days, a there is a mac that will run windows prorgrams. But I'd say they're both good. Which is better? Tough question, but I 'd say Windows XP.

I use windows xp. but i can tell you that macs are better. They always have been and always will be. Newspapers; graphic designers...Mac mac mac. Less virus hassle too.
If you get a windows user alone in a bar and pour enough booze down him...he may actually admit it.

XP. Mac is expensive and takes a lot more time to get things out for it.

The Macintosh operating system is by far the better OS ... and if you really want (though I don't know why you would), you can run Windows on your Mac. So you don't even have to choose.

Win XP for email, web browsing, presentations, and document production.
