Go to www.comcast.net and head to their e-mail section. You can access your e-mail from any PC.

Outlook and Comcast save an Internet file to your comp, that way you don't have to go through the task of logging in every time. Unfortunately, unless you set up a Comcast account on another comp, its not going to work on another computer.
P.S. You never really asked a question, you just made a statement.

are you able to use Internet explorer to look at your email when you are somewhere else? First send yourself an email or have a friend send you one. Then go to another computer not yours and go to www.comcast.net towards the bottom of the page is a login. Enter your username and password at the top is the mail icon click on it and it will open a new window that shows your mailbox. See if the new mail is in there. If it is you have a setting in OE that tell the server to delete the message off of the server when you download them.

You can't have outlook running when you want to read your mail on another computer. Outlook downloads your mail and removes it from Comcast thus preventing you from reading it elsewhere. When you want to read your mail from the Comcast web page, you must read it by clicking on their mailbox and you must not have Outlook running.
Hope this helps.

You'll have to configure the other computers with the name of the comcast email server. Call comcast to get the info.
