I have had a virus so had to reinstall all my programmes since then the connection is not secure. Also my house mate can only access wirless when she connects directly to the router which kind of defeats the point!! Any ideas?

Flock starts very slowly on my computer,i like its features but it starts very slowly in its initial launch,after that it is fast.It takes around 2 minutes for its first start, how to make it quick,do not suggest me to change my browser.

In microsoft programs some of commands are having shortcuts and some of tham are not. Sometimes I have to use mouse and it is slowing me down. For example when I want to save some internet page I have to use mouse. How can I find all possible shortcuts. Do they exist at all. Is possible to have tham on one list so I can learn them by heart. It will be very usefull for Word, Internet explorer and Power Point. Thank you!

just downloaded a few hours ago. Am constantly getting the message that the connection has timed out so I TRY AGAIN. This is as annoying as Internet Explorers PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED that popped up all the time. How to I tweak my stuff so that everything doesnt take so long? My web pages take around thirty seconds to a minute to load. I have a toshiba laptop with verizon wireless connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been having trouble with some hackers and was wondering if there was someway to track their IP and see where they are or if possible find a way to block their IP from accessing my computer (meaning where the hacker gets diverted from my computer)?

I have Zone Alarm which doesn't let them in the computer, but I don't want to have them even coming up on it.. At least not without a shitload of resistance... or something like that...

My little brother doesn't beleive me that a person who built this computer wouldn't be able to access it without the right IP Address, We have moved several times and have had several different internet providers, and then switched back to one that we had before in Michigan... Now we are in Illinois with the same company... The internet was disconnected in Michigan then was connected here... It should have a different IP Adress... Right? It is the same cable modem... And am I right in that without the IP Adress, he can't find this computer?

i'm an author, and my beta recently pointed out to me that i had written 'w/' instead of 'with' in my story. have u ever used internet slang in a non-internet writing setting, and why do u think it's becoming such a problem that english teachers r having to instruct their students not to use internet slang in their class papers?
