There 2 possibilities.

1. The PC of the this person is infected by virus and he does not know about it. My bf is the case, his PC was infected by spyware and his e-mail box will automatically send e-mail to all his contact list with virus. Some of his friends are infected also. He told me and luckily it was early as i haven't open the e-mail yet. So i was spared

2. The person is doing so intentioally. He want the virus to be widespread and more people suffer from the pesting. This kind of people are simply boring and evil-minded

People seem to have a twisted need to be self-important.

If they can't be important in legitimate ways, then they'll try to get the attention by devious or harmful ways.

Sad really.

Now, a lot of times, a person isn't even aware that their computer is sending out viruses to everyone in their address book... unfortunately, they just caught the virus themself and it's the virus that's causing havoc and duplicating itself to everyone in an address book. But the email owner was an innocent victim as well.

The moral: don't put people in an address book and ask not to be put in others to avoid viruses indiscriminately copying themselves to you.

Hi, perhaps they want you get your password or to popup adversivement.

you can try firefox browser.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

it can block any annoying popup ads. it can prevent most of the virus in the webpage, as you know, most of the virus is spread through internet.

Download firefox for free:

Thats trues alot of email goes out with viruses the sender doesnt know about. But for those who are sending it knowingly, maybe they are just malicious or hope to gain something from you.

To become infamous, power, all that fun stuff. Why do serial killers go on sprees undetected and in the end make a "careless" mistake to get caught? They were neglected as children.

Could b a whole heap of reasons, and the person may not even know it is happening!

Have you tried to email the person to let them know that this is happening?

Might be worth a try.

Good luck
