I got a pc ,recently I put another hd(160GB) and make it slave.but Now my C drive (the master) is getting full so I want them to switch the position.Can I do it without opening the computer cover?

My laptop doesn't recognize the LMJDSecure key when I plug it into the USB ports. I try the key somewhere else and it works fine. This would say it's the ports on my laptop, but other plug-n-play USB devices work fine. It just seems to be USB Mass storage devices that my laptop won't recognize (anymore, it used to.) What should I do? What could be wrong?

I have a Creative Web cam. I don't know how I messed it up but when I reinstall the software the webcam seems to work on like Yahoo messenger and such but when I try to open the creative webcam center it says :
Fatal Error - c:\program files\creative\shared files\CTTheme.dll load failed. Can someone help me with this ?

Will I be able to run DirectX10 (on Vista of course) with a GeForce 7900 GTX video card?? It seems that only the new GeForce 8 series "supports" DirectX10, is that true? Will I still have to run DirectX9 until I upgrade my card?

On Windows 98, I am trying to connect a USB hard drive in order to back up data from it and retire it. It's a hard drive I put in a generic enclosure, so I don't even know what device to get a driver for, is it the drive or the enclosure? Where can I get the drivers at? Are there generic drivers for USB drives?

A client sent me a "G Raid" external hard drive that connects via FireWire 400 or 800. I turned the drive on, connected it and heard Windows XP give the "bing bong" connected sound, but no drive showed up in My Computer.

So, I went to the Disk Management tool. The drive is there, but it's listed as uninitialized. My only option is to initialize it. I haven't done this for fear of losing any data that "should" be on there.

Ideas? Is it possible that this drive was initialized on a Mac and there's some discrepancy between the two computers?

How do external hard drives work? My computer is slowing down bigtime, because I have literally a couple of weeks worth of music in Windows Media Player. If i got an external hard drive and put all this music on it, and I wanted to use these files for some reason such as listening pleasure or sync to and mp3 player, would I have to go in and retrieve it out of the new equipment or would it just automatically show up. I guess what Im asking is how easy these things are to use with windows media player. And please put in laymans terms, Im not that computer literate.

What one is faster
Geforce FX5200 with 128mb V ram

Geforce 6200 with 128mb V ram.
Do they both have pizel sharders? Please answer both.FYI all i want is the higher FPS. they are PCI.sorry if there are misspellings .

I have a webcam but i lost the drivers disc so i have this thing here asking for its drivers over and over but i dont even know what the blooming thing is it has no name or logo on it. is there any program or website that scans ur connected devices and tells u there brand name so that i can get the drivers for this cam?

IS the Geforce FX 5200 faster than the Geforce MX4000?The clock speed of the Geforce MX4000 is : GPU 275 RAM dual DDR 250
The speed of the Geforce FX5200 is: GPU 250 RAM is DDR 332.
Does the FX have more pipe lines? Would it also give more FPS in 3Dmark and Aqua Mark 2?

hi i have a pair of bose 2 way bookshelf speakers and i droped one of them and the tweeter riped it is a paper tweeter and it riped it still works fine and dont sound any diffarent but i want to fix it how do i do this? someone told me to out scoch tape on it and then go over the scoch tape with clear nail polish.

I even went & bought new ones & I can hear some stacic. I checked to make sure they are plugged into everything correctly, and they are!! Is there some way to check my sound on my settings or something? I'm really frustrated, can somone help me figure out whats wrong?... it's probably something pretty simple, but I'm pretty new at the whole computer thing!! Thanks in advance!!
