My computer wont read the cd.Is there any other way?

copy the driver on your pc then run the setup.

verify the CMOS if it does detect the CD stress and also the HDD... if sure then over there itself get the first boot because the CD stress... wish this clean up the problem if no longer its to do with the Jumpers of the IDE cords if the are literally not set to CABLE pick (accessible)... hopes this solves or only e-mail me (see profile) i;ll attempt tohelp added...

make sure ur cddvd player is ck on and there is no yellow ? mark if everything is ck then u should tryto install a external cdr writer to see if the promblem goes away go to wal mart u can return it this is the chepes way of doing it

Go to the webcam mfgs site and download the driver and software.

It likely means you have a faulty CD drive. get a new one, and try it.

if it's a USB webcam it should be plug-and-play.. that is, just plug it in and windows xp should automaticaly recognize it.
