I even went & bought new ones & I can hear some stacic. I checked to make sure they are plugged into everything correctly, and they are!! Is there some way to check my sound on my settings or something? I'm really frustrated, can somone help me figure out whats wrong?... it's probably something pretty simple, but I'm pretty new at the whole computer thing!! Thanks in advance!!

Try this if you don't fnd anything muted
Go to Control Panel
Click on System
Click on Hardware
Click on Device Manager
Click on the + by Sound,video,game Contollers
*IF* you see any Yellow & Black ! point or Red X REMOVEE them
Shutdown your computer, NOT RESTART
Wait at least minutes then restart computer
Windows SHOULD find and REinstall the drivers

look at the bottom right corner of your screen there is an icon that looks like a speaker, double click it and your volume controls will open so you can check settings
