hi i have a pair of bose 2 way bookshelf speakers and i droped one of them and the tweeter riped it is a paper tweeter and it riped it still works fine and dont sound any diffarent but i want to fix it how do i do this? someone told me to out scoch tape on it and then go over the scoch tape with clear nail polish.

use a cigarette paper..take one paper and cut a patch . I usually try to use as little paper as I can. But if your actually reattaching the tweeter you might want to fold a whole paper length wise in half, and stick it together. Spread a small amount of Elmer's glue on one side of the entire patch paper and stick it over the tear. Lightly pat down with your fingers the to the edges Let it set a few hours. Works fine.

I know Radio Shack USE to sell a speaker patch kit or, at least the glue to repair pokes or tears.
