My yhoo messenger got a problem..When I open it, it appear someone that i don;t know name"dungcoi_vb". I clicked on Igore this person. I have a 2004 Dell desktop. I went to turn the volume up, and well, there was no volume button! I went to my programs then accessories, and when I clicked on volume control, it says something like I need to install new hardware? Hmm. Now, why do I need to install new hardware for my sound? PLEASE TELL ME WHERE MY SOUND WENT?

PS- NO BASHING DELL! I have had a Dell since 2002 and havent had 1 thing wrong with it, not even 1 error message in almost 5 years! Dude I am getting another dell!

My motherboard has 4 slots for DDR and 2 slots for DDR2. I have one dual channel kit 2X512MB. I want to buy another 1GB of RAM memory. Shall I get DDR, or sell my dual channel kit and buy 2GB DDR2? I know DDR2 is better, so what should I do?

Hi guys, Lately I got intel core 2 duo E6600 after being in the maze of choosing intel or AMD to dicover that they both suck..LOL!

I have a Dell Inspiron 5160 Laptop that I am looking to upgrade into a desktop. The laptop I have has a Pentium 4 processor which has had a memory upgrade from 512 to 1GB. Now I am not to sure of the detail on this but when I look at the system in my control panel, it says that I have 2.8ghz on the processor (CPU) and 1.25GB of RAM. When I compare these to the stats to the new intel Processors (Intel Duo – core) it seems as though the processor in my laptop is faster than the duo core ones! Surely this cannot be right?

My CD players give the message "no CD" but when i put the CD back into my computer it reads and plays the tracks with no problem. Media Player has burned the tracks in .cda format if that helps. Thanks very much for your help.

I am losing it with computer companies!!!

I have a Dell Latitude Notebook about 5 years old. The Backspace key has popped off because the little white tab that attaches the key to the keyboard has worn enough that it won't fit back the hole.

Anyway, I have taken it to about three computer repair guys who charged me 10-20 bucks to tell me they couldn't fix it after 60 seconds.

I phoned Dell, and they will not sell me the peice, as they do not make replacement parts for keyboards, even laptops!

What advice do any of you have for me? Is there anyone with a dead Latitude notebook that would pop off the button? What else could be done? I am going crazy!!!
