Turn it Off

I believe that the advice has changed over the years.
A while back it was considered much better to leave a computer on all the time because turning a computer on created a huge amount of stress on the hardware that was much more damaging than just leaving it on all the time.

But hardware has improved a lot since then and can easily handle a sudden change caused by a startup - so now it's often recommendation is to turn it off
And turning it off is good for the environment!

But there's still a lot of debate.
Whatever you do - always switch off your monitor, which can be a fire risk!

Yes, the less it's used to better it is. No need to wear it out if you are not using it.
