We decided to re-install our operating systems wipe out the computer and start from scratch. Now, it doesn't recognize the wireless card. We installed the driver, but the instructions say that the Windows will recognize the new hardware, but it doesn't. Everything was working fine before we wiped out the old operating system. Do we have to remove the card and re-install it?

Acer owns Acer, Gateway, and Packard Bell brands. They are the world's second largest PC maker. I expect them to become the largest in the next 5 years. What do you think? I bought an Aspire laptop from Staples and i absolutely love it. It's a stunning laptop with great design and dual core Intel, 160 GB for 499! It's such a bargain.

A web cam?
What should be included?

We have an older computer, Compaq Persario, (do not have a dvd reader with it, just a cd writer and plays cd's) do I need to look for something on my computer that will allow a webcam to function?

I have NO clue what to look for, or uderstand on how it works, and ANY serious advice will be greatly appreciated.

i keep getting e-mails from abbey national and natwest saying my bank account has been blocked on-line and to click on a link to reactivate it with my details. the e-mails don't address me by name, only dear client. they give a phone number which i rang and it doesn't exist. i don't belong to any of these banks so i ignored the e-mails. i was wondering if this is a scam to fool people into handing over bank details, has anyone else has had them and how can i stop recieving them?
