i want halo 3/xbox 360 for x-mas cause i love games, but i LOVE!!! music and i want to use a laptop strictly for storing all the music into the library...but i can only pick one

whats gonna be the best bet, and can a laptop store songs onto a ipod or do u only need a desktop to do that?

My desktop computer is HP Pavilion a6050y and I have the recovery discs that I make by myself in order to reinstall windows vista but now I wish to install windows xp but I don't know now how to remove windows vista from portion C only in order to install windows xp without having the necessary Cd's to install each of display card and wireless LAN card and motherboard card and sound card.

I know how to write program to the side and down.. but can a single cell do a complex program somehow? I'm thinking excel isn't advanced enough to do this... but if it is I definitely don't know how and would appreciate some assistance in figuring out how to do this. To make this a little more understandable let me give you and example.. It may take more than the characters I have left so look for additional details if you open this question soon.

This is what the program I was originally asked to write looks like basically.

Code # Units total: Units used: Units remaining: Money Remaining:


There are about 20 different codes.. and they decided they, instead of having a sheet per child, would like all the names on the verticle axis and keep all this info and list it per child... now to do that on the horizontal axis with so many codes, and so much information about Each Code # would make the sheet about 100 cells long on the horizontal axis.

My kitten knocked my boyfriends laptop off the table and now the screen doesn't work.. well not unless you hit it.. then it comes on for a few seconds.
Hooked it to my monitor and everything else works great.
Any ideas on what i can do to repair it myself (feel guilty!) as home insurance doesnt cover it (grr...). Detailed instructions would be good as im a novice in fixing the internal bits.. and the only person i know who can do it is my ex.. which i dont think is going to happen lol.

My sister downloaded this stupid game off the internet. In order to play the game, it required that she change our screen resolution. I cnt get it back to the defualt, and it keeps giving me the reminders to check the printed or online instruction, and I cant seem to find it. She put it back onto a resolution that is definately wrong. Words are very slightly blurred, I can tell the differance/

When I use PC Drummer on my 750 mhz Compaq laptop with XP Home, I get all the volume I want, but when I use it on my desktop HP (2.8 ghz with XP Pro), I don't get enough volume, even though the sound adjustment is maxed out. Both computers have the sound cards they came with -- very rudimentary. So -- if I install soundblaster, will that give me more volume?
