I wiped my Hard Drive planning to install Wesmosis so i download the Wesmosis operating software & burnt it on 4 DVD's with Roxio (it's a BIG file) & thought it would work like an original XP Software CD when inserted in DVD ROM drive & boot up but NOthing happened...from the size of the Wesmosis is it made to install over Windows XP OS..? if not can anyone tell me how to Use or Burn the Wesmosis.?

What is the loss of speed amount to from a wired network as opposed to a wireless one- taking into account that the router and pc ( wirelessly) are seperated by one floor ( typical house) and I am using 8Mb broadband. When using ethernet cable I get speeds of 6.5Mb, so what speed would I get from a wireless adaptor?

When she plugs her data storage device in it is not recognised. Can anyone tell me if that is due to it being run on Win 95 or whether its because of the age of the pc. She would ultimately like to be able to do homework in her bedroom which means that she needs to be able to store the data to work on school projects and move between different machines.

My question i have never turned my modem off since i originally hooked it up. Is that ok. There is no on off switch on it. Its not hurting anything by never shuting it off is there.

I have built a trading model in excel which will take real-time data and perform various calculations. I therefore need excel to be as quick as possible.

I've recently bought a Macbook pro and am quite disappointed because using excel is really slow.

Please could somebody tell me anyways I can make excel faster or any alternatives for performing my calculations as quickly as possible.

I recently moved my auction website to a new host now my site is not working. The new host recommended I use a certain mover and I did now my auction site will not work. I cannot log in to post a thing to sell and I cannot sign up as a new user to post a thing. I have contacted the mover the host and the software company. The mover says the code is encrypted the software company says it cannot access the server. I have not heard back for the host. Any idea?

Does anyone know what the best way to format a flash drive for readyboost in vista? I recently bought a new flash drive and would like to use my old 2GB drive only for readyboost. There are many options such as file system type (fat, fat32, ntfs) and allocation sizes (from 32 bytes to 64 kb). I would like the fastest read/write combination. I have a 2GB sandisk cruzer flash drive. Thanks
