I want more space than what's already there.

Well you are going to need a 2.5" ATA or 2.5" SATA (Serial ATA) hard drive. You should figure out which one you need.
I'd recommend a 7200 rpm and one that is as large as you can afford. You'll need the space eventually. Here is a pretty good selection of name brand laptop hard drives.

Ebay has UNBELIEVABLE deals, make sure you are getting the right one, should be 2.5" S-ATA but ebay has great deals 1/2 price of retail!

www.newegg.com. they have alot of great computer stuff lol. i got a really good hard drive from them and it works like a charm. even tho i got a desktop hard drive, but alwell, lol. they have alot of good stuff tho

Normally, a new laptop computer contains an internal hard drive - where the operating system and other software resides.
Please clarify your question.
