ok i just renewed my norton internet security for another year. is it going to let me update to norton internet security 2008 with new protection?

i mean since i renewed the protection. shouldnt it let me update to the new norton security 2008?

Your renewal allows you to get the latest antivirus definitions i.e. you still will receive the same definitions like in 2008, but your engine/version will still be that of this year/last year (2007). Unless otherwise specified by a promotion your are stuck with this crap for another year. In other words, when you renew these antivirus products they just allow you to continue the updates, not get the latest product upgrade.

I think you need to buy that...

thats the same with any upgrade with any software...

its not like rollover minutes with a cell phone....
