Just wanted to see if anyone had any similar experiances. I bought an item off ebay and of course used paypal. However, after a few days, the payment went unclaimed and I cancelled the payment yesterday. My online banking still shows that it has not be refunded. How long does this usually take? Its the first time I used it and I am just a little nervous that I have been ripped off. Advice? I tried calling the customer service number twice today and have been on hold for a really long time.

I use AOL however when i'm connected to the internet, sometimes internet explorer opens itself up and loads a popup.
Any ideas on how i can stop this from happening?

It is supposed to work on computers,TVs, sterio systems,etc. It is also a fm/am radio.It has two colors on the plug ins but only one of the plug ins colors match anything.

I have a user in my division with an MS word problem I've never encountered.

They have a 350ish page document with about 1200 internal links (linked to bookmarks).

When you click on a link for the first time, it brings you where you should go. And the back button returns you to where you were BEFORE you clicked.

However, after the initial click (whichever link is clicked first), none of the other links function this way. When you click the links, it brings you to the proper location in the document but pressing the BACK button returns you to the first link you clicked when the document was opened.

Why would this happen and how can I fix it? After each link pushed, he wants to go back to where he pressed the link if he clicks BACK.

I have just setup a Netgear wifi router and am able to use my old laptop on wifi. My new IBM laptop however does not have those 2comp lights on the right bottom of screen near the time. How do i get that and search for networks on my new laptop? PLease help.

hi there
i just upgraded my pc with ram form 1gb to 2 gb
i had 2rams for 512MB(ddr)
when i aded this new 1GB ram my windows not starting up..
i see bios screen it shows me that i have 2048 RAM=OK
then i see windows logo and loading bar it loads windows. but after that i dont see n e thing instead of welcome screen i see black sreen and its not starting up and doing nothing at all.
now ram they are the same only diference is the one i had was 512 and the new one is 1gig..
i have cheked all the websites andive done lots of tests if my machine can support more then 1 gig of rams test showed me that my machine can support up to 4 gig..
n e ideas?
mey be i have to reinstall windows to make it work???
why or wot is wrong with it?

I woke up this morning to my parents screaming about an email from cox saying our internet's going to be cut off, and when they left for work they told me everything better be fixed before they get back, but I don't understand exactly what they want, the second thing confuses me the most.. the thing said I needed-

(a) a physical or electronic signature of the subscriber;
(b) identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled;
(c) a statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled;
(d) the subscriber’s name, address, and telephone number and a statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located.

Trying to copy values from two different text fields and add these values into a single seperate text field.....if you anyone understands what I mean??!!
Basically, I am trying to enable a user to create their own unique user ID for a registration system. I want the values of the SURNAME field and the Date of Birth field to be combined into ONE SINGLE FIELD, called user ID. An exmaple of this would be ........ User ID : [ smith170188] - smith being the surname, and 170188 being the Date of Birth.
