Drive indicates a physical hard drive. Windows explorer can be used to search the contents of a hard drive. Folder is a subfolder of a hard drive. You can use Windows explorer to search the contents of a folder as well. An .inf file is an information file usually used by a setup installation program that tells it what needs to be installed. A .txt file is a simple text file that can be read using any word processing program such as Notepad, Wordpad, MS Word or MS Works. An .ini file is a supplementary file used by programs to find configuration settings. Font is a type font such as "Times New Roman" or "Arial". It basically tells a word processing program what style to output whatever you type in.

Do not touch inf, ini or font files. These are system files, and if you need to ask this, you don't know antwhere near enough about computers to play with the system, you caould end oup with a trashed machine. A Folder is the yellow object you see from my computer, and is used to store files. yuo can't do anything with it. A Drive is the device on which your files are stored, a physical piece of hardware. This can be a hard disk or a cdrom etc. A txt file is plain text, you can read it in notepad.

I believe Wordpad or Notebook should work for most of those. Right-Click on the file and select Open With -> More . Then select 1 of the 2 programs. BE SURE to uncheck the option at the bottom that says Use Program as Default!!! I dont want you to be stuck with the choice if i am wrong.

Good Luck!
