Is it possible to install a webcam from another computer(thats connected through my internet) and view it from my computer?Sorta like adding an extension cord to the webcam without the cord.

Please help me if you have ever seen this screen saver. I am finding it hard to find a specific screen saver that I saw on someone else's computer. (Not his original computer. He doesn't know.) It looks like it is one of the ones that came with the Windows 2000 its running. In the list of screen savers (under display) it is called "snow scene." The actual look is a running river with rocks and leaves in a wooded area. It then starts to slowly snow and after a while everything is covered with snow, as the river continues to flow. It looks totally real. It's the coolest screen saver I ever saw but I can NOT find it anywhere on the Internet. Have any of you ever seen this EXACT screen saver I am talking about? I use windows XP and don't have it. I also don't want to download another different snow scene but really want to find this specific one. Do you know how or where I can get it? Thank you very much for your help.

I have to do some house cleaning on my grandmas computer tomorrow so I was wondering what folders I can delete and which would be better not to.

Usually I don't mess with anything having to do with Windows, but there are two folders marked Windows on that computer that I'm wondering if they would be safe to delete. The first one is on the c drive, and is labeled Windows 98. Since the computer is running XP is that safe to delete or does it still need to be there in order for the OS to run?

The second folder is marked Windows in My Documents. I'm wondering if that one would be safe to delete as well.

Anyway, maybe those questions sound stupid, but I make absolute sure before I mess with any stuff like that. My computer is running XP and has neither of those folders so I don't think they are necessary but you can never be too careful.

Im going to install a psu and a video card tonight on my computer.My question is how long should i leave my computer unplugged so i can install everything without having power still running thorugh it.A friend was doign this on his computer and ended up frying his motherboard becouse there was power still running through the computer even though it was unplugged so i want to avoid what happened to him so it dosnt happen to me.

It is working fine otherwise and I have a nec 15inch lcd monitor - i used a new driver for teh card as well, but I can't go any higher. I know the card is rated for more. Also my monitor says it is best for 1024x768 as well. Planning on getting a new monitor, but I'd like to know if that is the problem first! Thanks! running xp on pentium 4 2ghz processor

I just downloaded and ran Anti Spyware on my PC.

14 trojans and still counting. etc.

i have a mild virus, but it just wont go away, even when i go into safe mode and do a virus sweep, i even turned off my (thingie that you have to turn off so that it doesn't save the virus after it's deleted it)
theres got to be some last resort. i'm tired of it popping up.

This is something similar to HLOOKUP and VLOOKU, the trouble is my values aren't in any order so LOOKUP would return the first of possibly several values that match the criteria.

For example: Sheet 1 has 3 columns - A is Date, B is Total 1 and C is Total 2. The date column is sequential, the total columns are random numbers. On sheet 2 I use the Large function to return the largest value from a range within the Total columns (B1:C10 for example). How would I return a value from the same row but a different column (e.g. if the largest value in B1:C10 was C6, how would I return A6).

When I first boot up my computer, and everything in the system tray has loaded.

If I click on a program, my computer, firefox, music, anything!
It says I do not have the right privledges to access them.

I am the administrator, and I think a virus/reg file has caused this to happen, but i have scanned my computer with Spybot, Adaware and Avast.

Once I wait about 20 seconds. It comes good and everything works.
But thats not the point, it shouldnt come up with those messages in the first place.

Any Ideas to what could be causing this problem.
Only happens once first booted (from a cold start), and it has happened ever since I bought a $40 wireless USB PC Lock (Brand Name 'Laser'), Which I uninstalled and did a system restore because I think it is the cause of it!

Help much appreciated.
