Is it possible to install a webcam from another computer(thats connected through my internet) and view it from my computer?Sorta like adding an extension cord to the webcam without the cord.

no, this method is not possible in the sense that you mean, if it was alot of people would use it to spy on people without them knowing, and im sure you could see why that would be bad.

Sounds like you want to install web cam on a computer somewhere else and see it on your computer at home.Yes as long as the computer its installed on invites you to watch it.There may be other ways but i don't know any off hand.

Yes just plug it into your computer and there you have it, it will only be on yours. I asked the same question about 7 months ago. It works.
