Hi. Pros are many. It has a neat GUI, has better security, and the Aero is cool to look at.
Cons are also many. You need much more powerful hardware to really advance with Vista, drivers are still an issue, and it uses a lot of resources.
It will probably be fine in the long run.

You can check this page out! http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.asp?m=1144715&mpage=2&key= . There are many pros and cons and to the person that said its not very stable, you need to do some research. Vista is almost as stable as XP! NERO DOES WORK!

pros to running vista?
........... the fact that you will have to upgrade your system to be able to handle xp 2.0
better security??!!! BUAHAHAHHA no.
windows in general has better security because microsoft continually pushes updates to fix flaws.
i lost the link to the article from that tho.
other than that there is nothing.
a few others mentioned the look of the gui... all of which can be done in xp while running better.

pros:looks nice. like a work of art
cons:slowest system ever. to many pop-ups made to make the system secure.
the verdict: dont buy it unless you feel like staring at a computer screen of art all day. Ur better off with XP.
