We have to do a project for history, and on our powerpoint, we have to have a timeline. How do you get that??
Thanks in advance!
ps~I already tried Microsoft Office Online, and it didn't really help...

Just make a timeline in paint and save it, then insert the picture into your powerpoint.

I don't know of any automatic way of adding a timeline to a Powerpoint slide. If you find something, please tell me because I would use it all of the time! *L*

For now, I would either draw it manually within Powerpoint or create it in Excel and copy/paste it into Powerpoint.

I don't know that there's a way to "insert" a timeline.

Best bet is to use the drawing tools to create a horizontal line as your base of time, with other lines and/or text boxes coming out of it to represent the events along the timeline.
