I have been wanting to make a map for a fantasy world I've been working on and have only been able to make maps on Paint; and they don't look good. I have set ideas on how it should look, I have tried ProFantasy (not impressed).

Is there any software or program that I can get to make a map like this?

NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 256MB SDRAM

It's a macbook pro 17inch with 1680 x 1050 pixel resolution.
More and more games are starting to be released for the mac platform, but the intel macs are capable of natively booting windows xp or vista with supposedly full driver support.

What sort of games can this setup handle, and at what graphic quality?

1.) I have 512 MB of RAM physically installed on my computer. Yet the system diagnostics only show me as having 504 MB. What is making those other 8 MB unavailable, and how can I change that?

2.) My computer is a pre-built Compaq Presario SR1250NX, and apparently I don't have a video card per se, but some kind of built-in Intel chipset. It's the Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset, specifically. I can't seem to find any way of analyzing or comparing this video chip to known real video cards, such as NVIDIA. What I want to know is how to determine, based on this mysterious video chipset that I have, whether or not my computer meets the requirements for various games. The game's requirements will say something like, "ATI X800 series, Nvidia GeForce 6800 series, or higher video card." How can I determine my chipset's equivalency with these standard cards?

I am trying to view a sheriff's sale calendar on the following website, but I keep getting an "Internet Explorer cannot display the page" error. I sent an e-mail to the webmaster and they say the site is not down and that I should check my firewall settings.

If you can see it, do you have any suggestions on what settings I need to change on my end so that I can see it?

I recently installed an older version of Nero. When it was uncompatible with Vista I tried to uninstall in the control panel, but it wasn't there. When I manually deleted all of the files associated, the size of my C: drive remains the same. Why if I deleted the files, won't my memory increase to the pre-Nero installation?

ok i have the norton anti virus protecton but it already expired but it still scans. but my internet doesnt work but the people 4rm sbc says its probaly norton thats blocking it cuz limewire still works and so does myspace im . the page doesnt work so i want to delete norton but what if its not that and it could still scan . i try 2 disable it but it frozes so that doesnt help! ill give you 10 pts if u help!

Everytime I try to open them they do start for only 5 sec and then they close. I dont know what is wrong. The only browser I can use is Safari and it takes a long time to open up also. How can I fix this problem. It is really strange because it closes both Explorer and firefox

Mem clock 1081
I was running Nfs Pro Street demo
Average fps 45
max is 83
min is 34
Should i oc it more ?
i Am afraid of ocing the core more cuz i ran it at 758 and the screen went crazy with squares and i reinstalled the drivers then everything was fine.
SHould i oc the mem or shader clock?
Is there any way to improve my video cards performance more?

btw i am saving for the g92 8800 gts its coming out in dec or later i have a freind that works there.

i recently added a new debit card to paypal, and when i checked my online statements with the card, i saw a 1.00 dollar pending on the account.

DOES PAYPAL CHARGE YOU A DOLLAR TO ADD A NEW CARD?!

recently while gaming my picture distorted/ graphics went crazy. it happens with all my games- bf2, cod, etc.
