what can i do to make it go faster?

After installling the second harsddrive, th ecomputer will not fully reboot. I get the first screen, then the screen goes blank with a cursor blinking in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Can you please direct me to a website that will walk me through the process or proceedures that are required to successfully get the second hard drive initialized and upp and running. I think that I can complete the minor tweaking once everything else is established. I've tried c/net and pcworld, but for some reason I get the impression that I am beginning in the middle as opposed to the start .So can you pleeeeeze assist me in getting this done.

i made a movie on windows movie maker and i added a background song, but the video ends about a minute before the song ends so i wanted to fade the song out at the end of the last clip in the movie. any help? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

when i go to my album and play a video that is opened with the browser quicktime player it says An error occured inside a plug-in contained on this page
then it says the plug in did not initialize properly
when i open the browser it will play one video and then if i try to open another it gives me that error message ive tried updateing my software it says its up to date i have quicktime pro on my desk top i was hoping i could use that instead

what can i do help!!!

Hi all. Sorry for the bother, but I appear to have a problem that despite trying to fix it for days it's still bothering me. I've recently rebooted my system and now can't get any sound. All the audio and other devices are freshly installed with the latest drivers I could find. It even says in Device Manager that everything is working correctly, but I'm still getting "No Audio Device" showing in "Sounds and Audio Devices" in the control panel. Any help would be appreciated

P.S. many people have said something about disks that came with the pc originally but i cant seem to find em so that option is out of the window!!!

My computer is just a year old and I had windows mill on it.

About a month ago I put windows vista on it, my boyfriend had the software from his new laptop. I wanted to try it on my comp. It worked okay for a while but not as good as it did. Anyways I didnt enter a serial number, and so now the computer won't work hardly at all.

It says I need to activate it by purchasing the prog online which is like $449!!

I can't even get into my computer desktop or start menu, it will only let me browse the net?

help!!!

i got this weird problem with my browser it just started happening recently a pop up comes on the screen every time now telling me that my browser is infected and my performance is running slow is there any program out there that i can download free to get rid of the trojans if i do have any i have a spyware remover i'm using avg as the program to get rid of them but iunno whats going on can any one help??

Ok so i am upgrading my video card...long story short, it blows, i need a new one. I have my eyes set on the Nvidia 8800GT, its only 300 dollars and it sounds like the best out there....my question though is, considering the 8800GTS is only 20 more...which is the literal best Nvidia card? is the 8800GT really the best or what? i would love if you would list the top 3 or 5 you know of within the 0-350$ price range.

The options i see on their website are----
GeForce 8800 Ultra
GeForce 8800 GTX
GeForce 8800 GTS (640 MB & 320 MB)
GeForce 8800 GT

And tiger direct has something called 8800GT XXX

Sure, its a lower quality, but whats the harm in this. If the stick I buy fails, then will it do any further harm to my system? Is there some mechanism in windows (vista) that tells you if a piece of equipment has died?

i have just shown a mate how to hide a file..told how to unhide it but he doesnt seem to hav the 'folder options' in the tool menu..this is XP we r using...and i tried gettin the files back through folder properties..nad it isnt working...

My question is what are the differences between ways to build a web site? I have have built web sites by coding with html in an editor. So what is the difference between scripting with html and others such as PHP? Why do people choose to use DreamWeaver and FrontPage when you can just edit the code in a normal editor like notepad?
