Microsoft Word is a word processing program that the Microsoft Corporation offers to consumers.

Vista is an operating system just like Windows XP except with major improvements. Without an operating system you can not run any programs or utilized your computer's hardware. This picture helps to illustrate what I'm talking about (http://www.webopedia.com/FIG/OPER-SYS.gif )
Microsoft Word is a program that is run in the operating system just like internet explorer or photoshop. You can use Microsoft Word with any Windows operating system (such as windows xp and vista). Your computer comes with Windows XP or Vista, so you wouldn't have to worry about that. Microsoft Word sells usually sells separately and you would have to buy it

Vista is the next OS from microsoft..... It's the next step from XP....

It is graphic intensive and makes all look cool.... It's got some extra features and some new games..... It's definately more secure than that of XP or 2000.

Word is part of the office suite and they have a new one of those too!!!!

Office 2007....
