I thing k it is called system restore or system recovery. I am using windows vista home premium and I am using a PC. How Do I restore my computer completely? I want it to be like it was when I first bought it at the store. Please help me. Please email me if you need anymore information, instead of wasting your answer asking it. Hi! I have decided to build my own computer. I have no experience with the internal parts, but am very good with the outside parts such as adaptors ect. I also know a little more than the basics. Like what a mother board is and all that stuff. But it gets down to the point where i dont want to buy something and not need it. So what im looking for is to build a computer based on media. I make videos, so its gunna need a lot of RAM. Im looking for about 60gb of hard drive. But i just have no idea how to decide on the mother board and they type of video card. So if you could let me in on this i would really appreciate it. =]

I few years back there were websites that allowed you to buy a possition on a virtual latter for some type of item (a computer, money, ect) and every time a new person joined it would move you up the latter... once you got to the top of the latter you would get that item (computer, money, ect).. does anyone remember what that was called?

I have windows XP, and my computer's about 3 years old. I'm usually just a console gamer so I have no idea what any of the specs mean. Gamespot says the specs for this game are: "We're told that the minimum system requirements are a 2GHz AMD or a 2.4GHz Intel single-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and an Nvidia 6600 or ATI X700 video card." I have no clue what they're talking about. We're can I check what stuff my comouter has? Are these parts expensive and high tech, or am I likely to have them?

I have the same modem that i've been having for about a year and a half. My downloads speed used ti be great, but now I download thing at 9 kbps. I also used to be able to watch youtube videos or anykind of videos fine, but now they freeze in the middle. Please help me, i don't know if it's my modem or what. Thanks for all the help.

The case has a side fan to have air blow to the cpu fan. i was gunna have the back fan blow out and there is a fan that blows in from the front. i was wondering should the top of the case fan blow in or out? Also i was getting a pci fan for VGA card

While removing my fan to clean the mountain of crap under it, the whole assembly came out (Fan, Heatsink and CPU)
The CPU can not be reinstalled.
Because the heatsink goop has turned to cement, making the two pieces into one,
the heatsink is now in the way of the lockdown arm
Any ideas how to remove or dissolve the goop and seperate the two

I have a video that has around 2,340 frames, and it needs to be a duration of 2 minutes and 36 seconds. Therefore is should be 15 frames/second.

Now I need to be converting it into a rare format of which there is only a handful of converters, so switching programs is not a option. In this one converter, the frame rate is stuck on 30 frames/second and the output is always that, its just the way it was built. Again don't suggest to change programs.

I need a video editing software that will let me duplicate each frame to a certain extent. So like I need to stretch that 2,340 frames into 4,680 frames. This way I will be able to convert the movie with 30 frames/second but still have the same output.

My laptop has been going pretty slow so I decided to try to defrag it. While it's analyzing, it gets up to 60% analyzed and says it can't finish because of an error in C:\Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content............ (the rest is a bunch of letters and numbers)...How can I fix this? I tried going into the Doc & Settings folder but I don't see Local Settings from there.
