Hi! I have decided to build my own computer. I have no experience with the internal parts, but am very good with the outside parts such as adaptors ect. I also know a little more than the basics. Like what a mother board is and all that stuff. But it gets down to the point where i dont want to buy something and not need it. So what im looking for is to build a computer based on media. I make videos, so its gunna need a lot of RAM. Im looking for about 60gb of hard drive. But i just have no idea how to decide on the mother board and they type of video card. So if you could let me in on this i would really appreciate it. =]

Can't help with the motherboard question, but I did want to recommend a bigger HD. I make videos as well, and the temp files alone associated with this can be huge. I also have a lot of heavy software installed on my vista machine... I have 144gb and 80 of that is already used up!

Go for the bigger HD so you won't be sorry later.

There are many manufatures that use ATi chipsets, i like MSI and HIS. They tend to be quieter then most....usually.

More video memory would make a difference too.
