Hi, I have a zillion sewing patterns I'd like to sell on ebay and it appears the best pics of sewing patterns are scanned. If I go to a friend's house who has a scanner, can I scan and send them to my puter or is it like huge files just like photos ? thanks

After years of trouble free O.E., for some reason I now have problems when trying to collect my mail.

I have all my logon details stored and the 'remember password' box ticked, and it used to automatically check for new emails when I opened OE or clicked on 'send/ receive'.

Now, when I click on 'send/receive' the server logon window comes up. When I repeatedly click on the OK button the window just keeps popping up over and over again.

I have been unable to collect emails for about a week....have tried everything, even deleting the account details and setting it up again with the correct server, smpt etc

Can anyone help?

I already backed up the My Documents folder, my Internet Explorer favorites, my email, my saved games, my downloads folder, the drivers for my video card and sound card, my music folder, my baby's pictures, and the stuff I have on my desktop. I think I got everything, but every time I reformat, it seems like I forget something. Can you think of anything I might be forgetting?

I'm still learning how to use MS Excel, so when you respond, please don't use a lot of technical terms I will have to look up the meanings to.

Ok. I know how to do this: when I put "1" in cell A1, I need data in cell G1 to appear in cell B1. This is a very simple formula in cell B1: =IF(A1=1,G1) Here is my problem though. In Column G, I have data from G1 to G100. "IF" formulas only allow up to seven "IF"s in a cell. For example:
=IF(A1=1,G1,IF(A1=2,G2,IF(A1=3,G3,IF(A1=4,G4,IF(A1=5,G5,IF(A1=6,G6,IF(A1=7,G7,IF(A1=8,G8))))))))

I need to go all the way to IF(A1=100,G100). The above example is the largest "IF" formula that it will allow me in one cell. How can I make it where if I put "57" in A1 then the data in G57 shows up in B1 or "79" in A1 results in B1 showing G79 data, etc, etc, etc. It would be 100 "IF"s in the formula, but Excel only allows seven. i have purchased about a year ago an authentic, real xp home edition cd- its all shiny and hologram. Anyway i spent like $220 aus dollars on it and apparently i can install it on as many computers as i want all at once- as in they can all run and update at the same time. I heard this when i called up Microsoft today- but i just want to make sure. Can i install it on as many computers i want legally and have them update? (cuz the guy could barley speak english)

i need help with internet explorer i recently installed the "windows internet explorer 7"... My office is under a major renovation project and various wireless access points have been installed and mounted to the ceiling. They will not be hooked to the existing LAN for another month or two. Right now they only have electric.

I would like to configure them, but it seems my only option is to set up my laptop on a ladder and run a crossover cable to the unit to configure it. That's a pain.

How can I do the same thing wirelessly? I can make a connection wirelessly (with 'limited connectivity'), but I can't browse to the access point's IP address wirelessly, unless I use a crossover cable. Any ideas?

A weird virus has infected my computer. My yahoo messenger starts sending these links to everyone in my friend's list AUTOMATICALLY. And my online status also automatically changes to those links...(DONT open them!i'm not sure if they contain a virus too)

I dont knw what these mean! and dont know HOW i got this virus...I usually dont open fishy looking links plus i also have MCAFEE antivirus
