Hopefully the gave you a manual.

The basic ingredient of wireless security is encryption. Set up WPA, if you can, or use WEP. Your router/hub may also support MAC address filtering,so that only computers you know can join your network.

The Home Hub offers WPA encryption. Use it with a 63 random character passphrase. You are now secure until the end of the universe.

Don't use WEP - it is insecure. MAC filtering and SSID hiding are both a pointless waste of time.

Your BtHome Hub is secure because it has the security key already installed. If you look on the outside of your hub you will see the key that is installed. Unless you show someone your hub or you give them the key it is quite secure.
