My friend recently sent me an iso file to my work computer. It's a software and I wanted to use it at home. Can I just put the iso files onto a cd-r? If so, will I be able to pop the cd-r into my home computer and work immediately or do I need to d/l something to open the file on the cd-r? Thanks in advance~!!

Hi,
I wondered if I should set "replication ID" for field size for the foreign key in the tabel?
The field size is courently set to "long integer".
What is bether to use, why and what is the difference?

i have two questions:
1) is it possible to hook up a 4 pin molex connector to a case fan? because im going to build a computer with 3 or 4 fans, however i only have 2 connectors designated as "fan only" while im gonna have a lot of spare molex connectors

2) what is a 4 pin cpu connector? i first heard about it on this site under the tech specs

does a connector really need to be hooked up to the cpu fan or anything else having to do with the cpu? and if so, why dont i see some other psu's coming with these "cpu connectors"?

i have just puchased a hp pavilion entertainment notebook pc. (dv6000) it currently has the intel graphics media accelerator. it woks somewhat well for games with older fps and rts games but not for newer ones. i know that both ati and nvidea makes cards for laptops but i cannot find anywhere to buy one. does it have to come in the pc from the factory or can i install one myself?

hi, i have a canon powershot SD900. I also have an imac computer (with ilife 08) how can i record alot of video (like 20 min. of none stop video) and import it on my computer? It's a schematic drawing that I'd ultimately like to print onto several sheets and then tape them together. I can't make it smaller or it loses the resolution to the point of much of the print disappearing. Also I seem to be able to look at the file from the site it's on, but I can't save it to my computer for some reason. When I tried to print even one 'window of a page', I could do 'print preview, but then when the normal print window came up, you know the 'how many copies etc.' window. well I hit '1 copy' and then it just said something like 'unable to print'.
My printer works fine.
Any help would be great. I have Windows ME. Hey, it works for me, I can't afford better, but that file is in an old style of file anyway. Sorry I can't remember if it's a jpeg...actually I seem to remember it's a URL...I'm pretty sure...sorry I'm not really computer savvy.

Please tell me step by step how to restore your system to a desired date.
I need to do this because i recently got a virus that none of my anitviruses and anti spyware get rid of.

I saw my friend do this once, it's like a calender and u pick a date that you want to restore it to.
how do i do that?
I Shut down my comp and when starting i pushed F8 but there is no system restore option there.
Please help.

I'm stuck between two laptops:

Core2Duo 1.5 ghz, 2 gb RAM, 160GB HDD, a Intel X3100 ---- costing $800

Core2Duo 1.73ghz, 1 gb RAM, 160GB HDD, but a Intel GMA 950 ----- costing $750

Basically, I can get the 2nd laptop and just buy a 1 gb stick for about 40 to 50 $. Then the two options would be the same price. The only drawback is it will have that the Intel GMA 950 which is a really horrible card.

Should I just go for the first laptop? How much of a difference is there between 1.5 ghz and 1.73 ghz in a core2duo? Thanks!

I have comcast internet with a motorola modem and a belkin router. They have been working without problem for almost 2 years. The network shows up on the list of available networks, but it doesnt connect automatically, and when I try to connect manually, it just sits and tries to connect for several minutes and gives up. When I go unplug both and plug them back in, the laptop connects right away. Repairing the wireless card doesnt work, it disables and enables the card and still can't connect. How do I fix it?

Why wouldn't a group of programmers be able to figure out the source code for Windows? I understand that Linux is an open source code that is constantly being changed and updated and given away free, and Windows is closed source that cannot be changed or constantly updated.
